I still don’t know what my niche is; I started with landscapes when I started to go out on longer walks and explore the hills and fells of the lakes and Northumberland. I wanted to try and capture the rugged beauty and atmosphere of them so naturally decided to try and photograph them.

More recently I have also discovered a love for city and coastal scenes, especially at dawn. Living on the East coast we get some spectacular sunrises and have a wealth of amazing beaches and photogenic landmarks.

I also really want to try out some astrophotography this year too (2025) along with potentially dabbling in portraiture.

The joy of photography is that it’s always evolving and I’ve just scratched the surface so far!
